Random ramblings from my beer soaked melon about politics, religion, sex, stupidities, nature, and any other subject that penetrates the haze. Sometimes crude and not for the faint of heart or people with normal intelligence, or an abundance of common sense.

LEMMINGS TO THE SEA
When buying and selling are controlled by legislation, the first things to be bought and sold are legislators.
P. J. O'Rourke

I’ve got a pretty good idea for the investigators of Tom Delay. Just check out the Congressmen who are rallying around him in his bid for reelection in Texas.

The Texas Republican congressional delegation  are giving him credit for helping them get elected and for establishing a Republican majority in the house and senate. They also say he brought home the bacon for NASA and the port of Houston.

Delay has to win a primary before he can run for the job he’s had for 22 years.
One of the best arguments I’ve ever heard for term limits.

Of course it might be tough for him to work from prison.
He must really have the dirt on all of his supporters.
They said he’s like Stonewall Jackson, Lyndon Johnson, and even a brave WWI officer.
There’s loyalty and then there’s sheer stupidity. They must never have heard the term guilt by association.

Glad I wasn’t there, I can’t swallow that much bullcrap in my condition,

I’m surprised anyone thinks he has a chance of reelection but it is Sugar Land, Texas.

Like I said before, gonna be an interesting year.
