Random ramblings from my beer soaked melon about politics, religion, sex, stupidities, nature, and any other subject that penetrates the haze. Sometimes crude and not for the faint of heart or people with normal intelligence, or an abundance of common sense.

A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.
Winston Churchill

This is not a real post I guess, but more a question.

I keep hearing the media harping on the fact that people in Congress voted to authorize the Gump’s war power authority.

Well, I remember the environment back then and it was ugly.

I also remember that all the votes in Congress for war powers were based on the lies told by the administration.

Funny how the people seem to forget that we are all basing our decisions on what we are told by the White House.

I think this is a good litmus test for future candidates.

I can’t understand why someone running for President can’t say “Hey, I was lied to. My vote was based on lies.”

It will never happen. They are all a bunch of gutless wonders, more worried about their position than the future of this country.

I am having trouble posting right now.
I think it’s what we used to call a target rich environment.
So many subjects so little time.

Then again, I could be full of shit.

A word to the wise ain't necessary - it's the stupid ones that need the advice.
Bill Cosby

I went back to work last night and I don’t want to go back again. It was the same as always, just me and a bunch of bread and buns. I don’t mind it really because I’m alone most of the time. I used to be a pretty good salesman and people used to look for me when they wanted to buy something. I was also a bartender for a few years and I was good at that too. I would have to get paid a hell of a lot of money now to be around that many people at work.

A lot of the things I have been reading in the news lately have only convinced me that I should find a job where I never see or talk to anyone. I’ll just mention a couple that kinda stuck in my melon.

First let’s go to Maine and learn about the group that call themselves The Bare Nekkid Mainers. This is a group of naturist nudists that belong to an international organization and participate in nudist events throughout the year.

In the winter when it’s too cold to skinny dip they rent out the Old Town Bowling Center. They cover the windows and post signs at all the doors saying that they are closed for a private party.

Now I have nothing against Nudists but, when I would never be one. Even when I was young I was never what you would call eye candy and was sensitive enough to make sure I didn’t gross out other people by parading around even half nekked. Now just picturing the members releasing their balls has given me nightmares.

As always there was some moron who ignored the signs and came in anyway with his 8 year old son in tow.
He called the police and they saw no violation and even checked with the city attorney.
I don’t know, he walked through two sign covered doors and ignored the manager trying to stop him and saw a nude man playing pool. I think he could have been charged with a few things. Especially since he had a minor with him.

I can’t get this other story out of my head either.
A student at Westerville North High School greased himself with grape seed oil and ran around the cafiteria screaming and flailing his arms scaring all the other students. I never heard of grape seed oil.

The police showed up and he wouldn’t stop and of course being greased they couldn’t hold him. So they used a stun gun on him, twice. He got up after the first time and continued with his show. I don’t understand why ha would do something like this and I really don’t understand why he would get up and continue after being stunned.

Now that’s what I call Greased lightning…

The return of my birthday, if I remember it, fills me with thoughts which it seems to be the general care of humanity to escape.
Samuel Johnson

One thing I like about this blog is that your birthday is not listed in your profile, though they do list your age. They even get it right unlike Blogster who never got mine right.

I had another one zip by on Monday. I have now completed my first year in the second half of my first 100 years in this demented circus. I was happy to note that it got very little play in the media and in the family for that matter. My Stepmother remembered as always. I don’t know how she keeps track. Every holiday, every birthday, anniversary, or special occasion a card arrives in the mail. She single handedly keeps Hallmark in business. The family have all remembered now, as of today. The Boss had a happy birthday for me on the actual day. The boys remembered when I reminded them.

I don’t think the family likes being reminded of my age after November 2005 when I got my first ride in an ambulance and went into the Emergency room for a real emergency.
I can understand that, I don’t like being reminded and I was passed out most of the time.

Although I did like that student nurse from Kent State who picked me as the subject of her next paper towards graduation at the end of the year. It pays to have a rare disorder, everyone wants to study you.

School has been out all week but Wednesday was for real snow covered roads instead of cold. Only a 2 hour delay today though, at least so far. I was looking forward to having a little solitude this week but it seems like someone is always around. At least it’s some of my favorite people.

I have the movies Flags of Our Fathers, Hollywood Land, and Running with Scissors to watch but I haven’t watched them yet.

I have a few posts in the pipeline right now, but they aren’t quite ripe yet. It must be the cold slowing the growing season down. Brain freeze without the ice crème goodness.

71 in Texas, that just isn’t right.
Must be all the Republicans talking.

It might get yp to 23 today.
I'm still on vacation and I still wish I was in Florida.

Myths are public dreams, dreams are private myths.
Joseph Campbell

I think I have finally figured out why I can’t get motivated to post on my blog. I know I should, but I just haven’t been able to get motivated…Until now…

You see I have finally figured it out. I have discovered the great secret. I had to think long and hard, taking into account all the strange things that have been happening in the world for quite a few years. I think it all started on a cold day in late January 2001. That’s when they plugged the Input/output cables into our asses and locked us into our pods.

That’s right were in the real Matrix. Nothing else can explain the surreal happenings since then. You see the Matrix is really a product of Bill Gates and Microsoft and is pretty buggy. The final proof for me came a couple of days ago when I did a full install of Microsoft Vista and it worked perfectly and is running clean and with no conflicts with my hardware and other software.

There were a lot other signs before this though.

It started for me on 9/11.

I remember watching the supposed leader of the United States being told that we were under attack. He already knew that airliners had been high jacked. What bothered me more than his failure to react was that knowing he was a target he chose to sit in a school and endanger all the students and teachers.

Meanwhile Cheney was rushed to a bunker and ran the show from there.

Then The Gump made a speech to the world, and called for a crusade in the Middle East.

I wonder who thought that was a good idea. Same person who got him to tell the world to bring it on and later, mission accomplished.

What should you expect from a group that got its energy policy from oil executives?

They continue to this day to ignore and protect the people really responsible for 9/11 and chase after the solders. I have watched as the money men in Saudi Arabia call and Cheney is there in a flash to receive his marching orders as he did last year.

Bush sails the ship of state on its merry way.

Oil was about $1.43 in 2001 when the Matrix was activated. It went way up over $3.00 and now even though the price of a barrel of oil is the lowest it’s been in years the gas here is still about $2.10.

Exxon/Mobile has posted record profits again this quarter. $39.5 billon. Don’t worry though they are putting the money to good use. No not by building refineries or developing new forms of energy to cut pollution and our dependence on oil.

They fund places like the Heritage Foundation that pretends to be a think tank but is really just there to promote what the oil companies and other big business want. They also fund one called The American Enterprise Institute. They have been busy paying scientists $10,000.00 to publicly try to debunk the U.N. report on global warming. Does anyone else think that this should be a crime and the CEO’s should have their golden parachutes removed? The Bush gang has been helping by putting pressure on government scientists to minimize global warming reports.

In other strange news the Russians are trying to figure out why the snow falling in parts of Siberia is yellow. I wonder too.

Is it some form of pollution or are the gods really pissed.

I think it’s another bug in the Microsoft Matrix.

People in parts of Australia are now going to have to drink recycled water. Yup it comes from the sewage plants. They are suffering some of the worst droughts in history.

I wasn’t aware that they already do this in England and some other countries.

In other news from the land down under for some time there have been Gnomes congregating in a certain location in some woods. There number have been increasing for some time.

You know what I mean don’t you the little statues you see in gardens.

Well, someone took in upon themselves to destroy the whole crowd in what can only be described as a senseless hate crime. I think they were driven to it by drinking purified piss water.

The most surprising thing lately though is that the United States is going to become the number one consumer of wine in the world. They will even surpass the French.

Nice to know we’ll be number one at something.

I am convinced the Microsoft Matrix is real and the bugs are getting worse.

I wonder what will happen next?
