I never knew that Jimmy Carter said anything so not nice about Republicans, but it must be true it was on Brainy Quote.
There are a lot of people who would agree with him it seems.
Ohio State Senator Robert Hagan a Democrat in the Republican controlled Senate has sponsored a bill to prohibit Republican couples from adopting children. According to Hagan credible research shows that adopted children raised in GOP households are more at risk of developing “emotional problems, social stigmas, inflated egos, and alarming lack of tolerance for others they deem different than themselves and an air of overconfidence to mask their insecurities.” Hagan notes that there is no scientific evidence backing his claims about Republican parents. He notes that the claims of Republican State Representative Ron Hood in his bill to ban gay parents from adopting children because they suffer from emotional harm when they are is the same .
The GOP House leadership does not support Hoods proposal.
I thought that was strange, it makes sense to me, but this is one of the Red states where the polls don’t match the election results the Governor has a 16% approval rating and an ever growing number of his aids are being indicted for corruption.
It’s getting to be an interesting election year.
